Military Organizations, WWI MIL ORG
Abstract
This is a version of a collections finding aid used by the Military Collection prior to 2014, before collections were numbered and had their own individual collection finding aid. There are far more WWI Papers collections in the WWI Papers holdings of the Military Collection than listed here for military organizations and North Carolina units. Some of the materials listed in this old finding aid have been reprocessed with new Military Collection WWI Papers collection numbers, replacing an older collection labeling system that did not use collection numbers. For those that have been reprocessed, they were removed from this finding aid, leaving box number gaps. The reprocessed collections and their finding aids are available for viewing the State Archives' online catalog DOC. For information on the reprocessed collections, contact the State Archives of North Carolina's Reference Unit or the Military Collection Archivist.
