Records relating to the settlement of over 1,400 outstanding claims against the state by individual soldiers for their Revolutionary War service pay. Folders frequently concern more than one soldier, and may include affidavits, depositions, and certifications concerning military service; furlough and discharge papers; powers of attorney; assignments of interest; certifications concerning letters of administration on the estates of deceased soldiers; and accounts of final settlements.

Alphabetical by name of soldier, but folder often includes more than one soldier.
