    Typescripts of three unpublished autobiographical works written by Mrs. Chamberlain in the 1940s: "What's Done and Past," "Oh Call Back Yesterday," and "Older Years Than Fifty," which describes Salisbury in the 1880s. A volume contains copies of six Chamberlain family letters (1790-1818) from Massachusetts and New York and a copy of letter from Professor Elisha Mitchell to fiancee Maria North, describing the appearance and people of UNC and Chapel Hill, with a rough map and the plan of his house (1818).
