Abstract

The collection is composed of one illustrated 32-page booklet entitled XVII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, North Carolina: A Visitors Guide to Fort Bragg. Dating from the late 1950s, the booklet was an introduction to history of, units stationed at, and facilities of Fort Bragg, N.C. There is also some basic information on the city of Fayetteville, N.C., and a map of the city in relate to the base from the 1950s. Photographs in the booklet include concept drawings of the new base hospital then under construction, early helicopter training scenes, and general views of post facilities.
