Printed material includes issues of the Orphan's Friend, with articles on North Carolina history by Fred A. Olds, and newspaper clippings concerning Anne Preston Bridgers, a North Carolina memorial at Gettysburg, Frances Fisher Tiernan, Capitol Square, St. John's Church in Williamsboro, Fort Macon, Edward Buncombe (1742-1778), Lumbee and Cherokee Indians, and future of American women. Also a bookseller's list of North Carolina pamphlets; the Press Bulletin of the Philippine Commission of Independence (Washington, D.C.), Sept.-Oct., 1922; and reprinted speeches of Ohio Congressman Martin L. Davey (Davey Tree Expert Co.) about conservation of American forests, 1924, 1926.
