This collection is comprised of twenty-five photographs and two greeting cards. The formats of the photographic material consist of: tintypes, card photographs, cabinet cards, silver gelatin prints and photo postcards. The photographs are chiefly portraits and are purportedly of the Ruffin family of the Nash, Edgecombe, and Wilson County area of North Carolina.

Collection Overview

This collection is comprised of twenty-five photographs and two greeting cards. The formats of the photographic material consist of: tintypes, card photographs, cabinet cards, silver gelatin prints and photo postcards. The photographs are chiefly portraits and are purportedly of the Ruffin family of the Nash, Edgecombe, and Wilson County area of North Carolina. The majority of the subjects and locations are unidentified, however, the names of local photographers are printed on the photographs. One photograph depicts the Carrie Rich Memorial Library on the Campbell University campus, c. 1920. The photographs are arranged by medium; tintype, card photographs and cabinet cards, postcards, silver gelatin prints, and greeting cards.
